About the Author
Jim
Stark was born in Ottawa, in 1943. He graduated with a BA in
psychology from Laurentian University in 1967. In 1977, he
founded Operation Dismantle, a national nuclear disarmament
organization, where he served as president and CEO until
1985 (see Cold War Blues or The Canadian
Encyclopedia). With his wife, Earleen Devine, he has a
business at
Life Profiles writing the life stories of seniors. He has written dozens of life
stories, as well as ten of his own books. He currently
serves as president of Vote World Government, an NGO
(non-governmental organization) dedicated to the launching
of a global referendum on democratic world government.

Plan for Planet Earth: Democratic World Government through a
Global Referendum, is meant to deal with the political
structures needed to allow for the survival of humankind.
His next book, The Human 3 Evolution (a work in
progress), will be his effort to articulate the inner
(under-the-skin) transformation that may be needed to allow
for indefinite human survival.
